Joel and Dakota have very different perspectives and skills, which is why they make a great team. Joel loves landscape and one-on-one sessions, and you will find him incorporating the beauty of the world in his portraits. You could say he sees "the big picture," and always captures a dramatic scene. Joel has been taking professional photographs as long as he can remember, and he has been shooting weddings for over 20 years. Joel's favorite things are cake, the outdoors, and the smell of leaves burning in the fall. 

Dakota is a third generation photographer who grew up in her father & grandfather's studio. You could say she was destined to become a photographer. She developed her own passion for photography while living in Philadelphia and capturing city life. She loves kids, families, and weddings. She finds beauty in the small things and strives to capture the details that make moments unforgettable. Her favorite things are being a mom, lavender, and coffee!
